Boiled my corned beef in my 8 qt. dutch oven for 5 hours today. Cooked the cabbage, carrots and potatoes in a pan without water for 45 minutes. Voila! Dinner served! Delicious!

Did you put water in the Dutch oven with the corn beef?
Hi Don, Yes, I use water because Corned Beef is so salty it helps take some of it out. It can be done either way, though. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
