  1. The instructions for cooking with rice that came with the book didn’t work out well for me (was over done and lid difficult to remove using gas range.)
Do you have a better way to cook rice?

    1. Hi Dawn,

Cooking rice is really easy doing it this way:

Put rice in pan, cover with 3/4″ water. Bring all to a rolling boil and time it 90 seconds WITHOUT the lid. Then take the pan off the range or in your case, turn off the burner and only then put the lid on. Wait 20 min. and your rice will be perfect!

  2. I’m looking for a good cookbook to use with my Lifetime cookware set, which I purchased 2 years ago and haven’t used. I have used the electric skillet that I used once but I had difficulty with the food burning on.

My husband is urging me to begin using this pricey cookware set, but I’m reluctant and have buyers remorse. I wish I could find someone to help teach me to use the set.

    1. Hi Jane,

I know how you feel about using something new and not knowing exactly how to use it! I can assure you, though, once you get the hang of it you’ll wonder how you ever did without it! Feel free to contact me at lifetimecookware@hotmail.com and I can help you with some good tips. Chances are you can tweek a few things you are doing and end up with excellent results. I want to encourage questions on this blog because it is truly our goal to help people to use this type of cookware so they can eat healthier and cook faster than ever before!
